If you want to know train arrival times at Jyväskylä, below are different links where you can check them. It’s very important to use different websites, as sometimes some of them may be outdated.
Most of them use the same data, as Digitraffic has a database that other users can use to create such applications.
If you want to check train arrivals, click on the different links and you’ll see, for example, the train number, arrival time, and the track where the train arrives. On some platforms you’ll also see the train’s route or the train’s departure location. After that you’ll see which trains are scheduled to arrive next. However, I recommend that you check the schedules or routes from the official vr.fi sites, which we also leave below.
Finland’s rail network is extensive, and it allows you to travel to many different destinations across the country. If you want to check train schedules and departures from this station, you can use VR’s website or mobile app. Because it’s the official source and page. However, there are other sources as well, which we’ll look at now.
On VR’s website you’ll find an easy search function that allows you to check train schedules and departures. Previously there were VR service points where train tickets were sold. However, sales stopped in 2020. Since then, train tickets can be purchased from ticket machines, which are available at Jyväskylä railway station.
Another option for buying train tickets is the VR Matkalla app. Available on App Store for iPhone and Google Play for Android.
You can buy different types of tickets according to the length of the trip or the frequency of train use. Here we mention them for you. See our detailed guide on Finnish trains here.
