Kauhava Railway Station
In the Finnish railway network, Kauhava Railway Station is located on the Seinäjoki-Oulu section, also known as the Pohjanmaan railway. However, the station is located in the Kauhava municipal center.
Kauhava Railway Station is known for its Class IV neo-Renaissance building. It is the work of designer Knut Nylander. The station was built in 1884, but it was expanded in 1903.

Train Tickets
Ticket sales at the station were discontinued in 2008. So you must buy your ticket from the ticket machine located at Kauhava Railway Station. Unfortunately, the waiting room is also not available.

Parking Spaces on Train and Luggage Storage at Station
Finland’s central stations or larger stations usually have parking space on the train so you can travel with your vehicle. However, Kauhava station does not have this service. You can go to nearby stations that do, such as Helsinki.
Another interesting point is that since the station does not have safe storage space for luggage, you will need to go to public places such as museums and restaurants with your luggage.
No Luggage Lockers
