It is 59 km to Helsinki, 45 km to Lahti and 20 km to Haarajoki. It has been open since 2006, and can accommodate about 1,500 people per week.

Mäntsälä station has four tracks (2 tracks/platform). The local trains that run there are the Z-train, which runs on both the left and right sides. In addition, trains run on the sides of the two middle tracks. Track 1 usually runs towards Helsinki and track 4 towards Lahti.

On Finnish trains there is a service area where you can bring your car inside the train, so your vehicle travels with you.

However, because Mäntsälä station is so small, Mäntsälä trains do not offer this service. If you need it, you can go to Helsinki Central Station or another larger station that offers this service.

Currently, Mäntsälä railway station does not have the ability to take cars on trains. For this, we recommend going directly to larger main stations in Finland, such as Helsinki or Tampere.
Another welcome service at Finnish railway stations is luggage storage lockers. Here you can store your luggage while doing other activities, such as sightseeing, going to a restaurant, and so on.
